Stowe School ‘Headmasters garden’ progress

Back in November the design team at C&M helped plant bulbs and shrubs at Stowe School as part of the restoration of the ‘Headmasters Garden’ originally designed by Brenda Colvin in 1922. Today, the team are back on site planting 587 perennials and 168 Betterbuxus plants for low, topiary hedges as evergreen structure through the garden. Perennials include some spring/early summer flowering varieties such as Iris ‘Bedtime Story’, Geranium macrorrhizum and Lysimachia ephemerum for a good show on the school’s centenary celebration day and opening of the garden on May 11th.
