Brief
To ward off the threat to Hampton Court Palace created by applications for inappropriate tall buildings.
Details
We were appointed to define the “skyspace” needed to safeguard the visual context of the Palace, using the same innovative sky mapping methodology we developed for protection of views in the Royal Parks. The resulting document became the position statement of the Historic Royal Palaces on the acceptability of tall buildings around the remnant Arcadian setting of Hampton Court Palace.
