Brief

To design a masterplan for 46 assisted-living retirement homes on a  greenfield site adjacent to Albion Lodge. To develop a planning strategy that will achieve  planning permission.

Our masterplan takes in the whole site with the aim of creating a retirement  complex that provides for all levels of retirement living within attractive landscaped grounds  that benefit from fine views to the Malvern Hills. The planning strategy draws on aspects of the  local village plan and has received the support of the Parish Council. It is also in accord with  the Extra Care Strategy put forward by Worcestershire County Council, and pre-application  advice from the local authority was largely favourable. Full planning permission was achieved  and the first block of 16 apartments completed in 2024.
