Ightham Mote National Trust estate featured in The Architectural Journal

Colvin and Moggridge were recently featured in The Architectural Journal in an article highlighting the new Visitor Centre and landscape improvements C&M completed alongside Reed Watts Architects at the Ightham Mote National Trust estate in Kent.

The result of over 15 years of collaboration with the National Trust, Colvin & Moggridge acted as lead consultants and master planners, shaping the visitor experience throughout the estate, from arrival and parking through to access to the gardens and historic house via the restored walled garden and new visitor reception.

The project prioritised sustainability, accessibility, and sensitivity to the site’s historic setting, ensuring the new visitor reception enhances both visitor flow and enjoyment of the remarkable 700-year-old manor and its wider estate.
